GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. — All lanes of State Route 316 heading eastbound are closed following a crash in Gwinnett County on Friday morning, according to the Georgia Department of Transportation.
Gwinnett police has the highway blocked off. It's unclear how many vehicles were involved in the crash. 11Alive is working to learn more details.
The wreck comes as roads remain very slick, with many ponding with how much rain has fallen over the last 24 hours in metro Atlanta.

Helene's strongest impacts -- mainly wind -- have yet to be felt in metro Atlanta and north Georgia, but those impacts are expected to be felt a little later Friday morning around 6 and 7 a.m. The storm has weakened to a tropical storm as it approaches the city and further north.
