CARROLL COUNTY, Ga. — All lanes of I-20 in Carroll County are shut down on Wednesday afternoon after what looks like a tractor- trailer crash. Georgia State Patrol said that at least one person has died.
This is happening in the westbound lanes near Highway 113, also known as Temple-Carrollton Road. It appears that a car crashed underneath an 18-wheeler. GSP said that all traffic is being diverted onto exit 19 and the interstate is expected to reopen around 7:15 p.m.
