JEFFERSON, Ga. — UPDATE: All lanes on I-85 in Jackson County have reopened after a crash involving hazardous materials on Monday afternoon prompted lane closures.

According to the Jefferson Police Department, northbound lanes on I-85 were closed at the 131-mile marker due to a large traffic accident involving hazardous materials. Both southbound and northbound lanes were closed.

It is currently unknown if anyone was injured.
