SANDY SPRINGS, Ga. -- Drivers who frequent Peachtree Dunwoody Road at the Abernathy Road intersection will be happy to know that it is back open.
The roadway was blocked Thursday for hours because of a gas leak.
City officials tweeted a photo of the intersection, saying there was road damage causing drivers who commute in the area to find an alternate route.
City leaders also said Atlanta Gas will be working in the right turn pocket and left turn pocket for a few more hours. They are asking drivers to be mindful of the crews.
