The drive into Midtown Atlanta is slowed down early Thursday morning with the exit ramp from I-75 South to I-85 North closed due to a piece of construction equipment stuck on the roadway after failing.
As of 7:30 a.m., crews were still trying to clear the area after the ramp had been closed overnight for work and then remained closed with the equipment stuck there.
The easiest way for 75-South drivers to get back going north is to take the 17th Street exit, go to West Peachtree and then use the Buford-Spring Connector.
