DACULA, Ga. — Crews are cleaning up after a tractor-trailer crashed, leaving boxes of fire logs all over the highway in Gwinnett County on Tuesday, according to the Georgia Department of Transportation.
GDOT said crews responded just before 6 a.m. to a crash on Georgia Route 316 in the westbound lanes at Hurricane Trail. It expects to have the area cleared by 8 a.m., which has been extended to 9 a.m.
Officials have not said what led to the crash but have one lane of two blocked while crews clean up roads. GDOT cameras show the back part of the truck's trailer is nearly cut all the way through.
