DUNWOODY, Ga. — Lanes are now open after a tractor-trailer fire temporarily shut down Interstate 285 Westbound near Ashford Dunwoody Road.
The Georgia Department of Transportation and Dunwoody Police confirmed the incident, which happened around 4:37 a.m. and have not updated the public on any injuries.
For drivers who usually take I-285 through the area, it was recommended to reroute by taking Interstate 85 south to GA 400 north to avoid the closure. Traffic was at a standstill as authorities worked to manage the scene.
