ATLANTA — As you head off to your holiday destinations at the Atlanta airport, you might notice a new voice welcoming you into the Big A.
The Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta Airport is getting a new voice, and it's none other than the city's legendary radio host, Ryan Cameron.
Cameron took to the X platform on Monday to announce his new gig with the airport.
He said in the caption of his post, "Breaking news: dreams don't have deadlines. So excited to be the voice of @HartsfieldATL. I love my city. Someone commented, 'When I hear you, I'll know I am home!!' I received that!"
He will be on the loudspeakers guiding passengers through the world's busiest airport.
Cameron recently got his own show after earning the title in the ranks for the former voice of the Atlanta Hawks, where he turned 3-point shots into his signature "for3eeeeeeeee" call.
He is a two-time Emmy Award winner and a member of the Georgia Radio Hall of Fame with a decorated career in acting, comedy and advocacy. He also played the announcer in Stomp the Yard and Drumline.
