ATLANTA — CLEAR, an official TSA PreCheck enrollment provider, has included Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport as one its new locations for customers to enroll and renew options provided by program.
The new locations across the country represent an ongoing expansion to enroll travelers in the Trusted Traveler program. TSA PreCheck enrollment is now available Monday through Sunday from 6 a.m. - 8p.m. daily.
"This is a win-win for U.S. travelers who will have access to more enrollment locations, expanded hours and other benefits," CLEAR CEO Caryn Seidman-Becker said in a news release.
CLEAR is opening the following seven new locations:
● Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL)
● Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS)
● Denver International Airport (DEN)
● Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport (DTW)
● Rhode Island T.F. Green International Airport (PVD)
● San Jose Mineta International Airport (SJC)
● Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport (SJU)
TSA PreCheck members get to keep shoes, belts and light jackets on through the security checkpoint, and keep electronics and 3-1-1 compliant liquids in carry-on bags. Members typically get through security screening much faster, according to the release, with about 99% of members waiting less than 10 minutes at airport checkpoints nationwide.
New TSA PreCheck applicants can go online to pre-enroll or find an enrollment location. Most existing TSA PreCheck members throughout the U.S. can renew directly on CLEAR’s TSA PreCheck website, regardless of the provider they enrolled with originally.
