ATLANTA — Two Delta planes ran into each other, making what the company described as "minor contact," on the taxiway in Atlanta.
The company said in a statement that flight DL1231 to Pensacola was pushing back at the same time flight DL823 to Los Angeles was taxiing by, resulting in the contact.
"There were no customer, flight crew or ground crew injuries," the company said in a statement.
Delta said that the flight to Los Angeles had to be moved to a different plane, and that to properly staff it that flight would be delayed overnight.
