Atlanta hadn't hit this temperature since August 13, 2019, meaning it has been almost five years since we've been in the triple-digits.
This also tied a daily record of 100° set back on June 26, 1914. A 100° tie from 100 years ago!

The heat has been tough, but thankfully, we are expecting a bit of relief from the heat starting tomorrow. While temperatures will still be above-average, they will be much lower.
