WEATHER UPDATES: New round of severe thunderstorm warnings

Here is the latest on severe weather moving through.

ATLANTA — The 11Alive StormTrackers are following a storm system coming in through Alabama that is bringing severe weather with it.

The most significant threat would be some possible damaging wind gusts.

3:22 p.m.: The severe thunderstorm warning has expired for Morgan County. It remains in effect for Greene, Oconee and Oglethorpe counties.

3:09 p.m.: A new severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for parts of Greene, Morgan, Oconee and Oglethorpe counties until 3:45 p.m.

1:57 p.m.: The severe thunderstorm warning has expired for Newton and Walton counties.

1:45 p.m.: The severe thunderstorm warning for Newton County has expired. 

1:21 p.m.: The severe thunderstorm warning has been allowed to expire for DeKalb County. It remains in effect for Newton, Rockdale and Walton counties.

1:08 p.m.: A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for parts of DeKalb, Newton, Rockdale and Walton counties until 2:00 p.m. Hazards with the storm include 60 mph wind gusts and nickel size hail.
