ATLANTA — Zeta pushed its way through parts of Georgia early Thursday morning, and though it is now gone, some school districts have decided to cancel classes ahead of time or move to digital learning.
With widespread power outages continuing for some communities, some districts are starting to make a decision on whether or not they will have class on Friday, Oct. 30, 2020.

Here's what we know so far:
- Atlanta Public Schools - Remote workday for teachers, non-instructional day for students
- Banks County Schools - Closed Friday
- Bartow County Schools - Closed Friday
- Chattahoochee Technical College - All campuses closed Friday
- Cobb County Schools - Classes canceled; local school, central office staff will work remotely
- Dawson County Schools - Closed Friday
- DeKalb County Schools - Remote learning day for students and staff
- Fannin County Schools - Closed Friday
- Fulton County Schools - Remote teacher workday, non-instruction day for students
- Gwinnett County Schools- Digital learning day
- Gwinnett Technical College - Closed Friday
- Habersham County Schools - Closed Friday
- Haralson County Schools - Closed Friday
- Lumpkin County Schools - Closed Friday
- Polk School District - Closed Friday
- West Georgia Technical College - Closed Friday
- White County Schools - Closed Friday
