ATLANTA — Georgia's Groundhog 'Beau' predicts an early spring and not 6 more weeks of winter. Our 11 Alive Meteorologists agree with the Peach State's prognosticating rodent for our weather in the southeast.
As a whole, the month of February will likely end up with warmer than average temperatures for the North Georgia area.
With that being said, we will still have warm snaps and cold snaps for the month.
In opposition to Beau's take on an early spring, Groundhog Phil from Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania has a different take on what the future may hold. Phil saw his shadow, predicting 6 more weeks of winter.
