ATLANTA — As Hurricane Helene pushes inland after making landfall along the Florida coast, shelters are opening up across Georgia for the major storm.
Most of the shelters are open in south Georgia near the Georgia-Florida state line, but there are still several that are open to those in metro Atlanta.
