ATLANTA — Elsa continues racing up the east coast late Thursday and will impact the Mid Atlantic through tonight, followed by New England early Friday.
Elsa brought heavy rain, gusty winds, and tornadoes to southeast Georgia late Wednesday through Wednesday night.
Here's the forecast track early Friday, showing the impact for I-95 cities from New York through Boston and even into coastal Maine.
Meanwhile in the wake of Elsa, we will still have plenty of moisture left behind to give us higher rain chances Friday afternoon in Georgia.
Elsa was the fifth tropical storm this season and first storm to strengthen into a hurricane.
