Rabun County residents woke up with snow covering their yards.
Emergency management officials tell 11Alive they received between two to six inches of snow.
Snowfall began in the area Saturday.
Officials are telling people to stay off the roads if possible. It's still wet and rainy. Crews are also watching Mathis Dam and are concerned with flooding.

About 4,600 homes are without power.
Rabun County is still under a winter storm warning. According to the National Weather Service, the winter storm could continue into Monday.
A Winter Storm Warning means significant amounts of snow, sleet and ice will make travel very hazardous or impossible.
The storm will continue to impact the region and the warning remains in effect until noon on Monday.
