ATLANTA — We're tracking afternoon storms as they move through Georgia and metro Atlanta on Saturday with the potential for some to become severe.

SATURDAY, JULY 18, 2020

5:50 p.m. | The Severe Thunderstorm Warning has been canceled for Cobb and Douglas counties.

5:43 p.m. | A Severe Thunderstorm Warning continues for Cobb and Douglas counties but has been canceled for Fulton and Paulding counties.

5:36 p.m. | A Severe Thunderstorm Warning has been issued for Cobb, DeKalb, Fulton, and Gwinnett counties until 6:15 p.m. The storm is capable of winds of up to 60 mph and hail of up to one inch in diameter.

5:08 p.m. | A Severe Thunderstorm Warning has been issued for Cobb, Douglas, Fulton and Paulding counties until 6 p.m. The storms are capable of winds of up to 60 mph and hail up to an inch in diameter.
