ATLANTA — 11Alive StormTrackers had been watching a system that moved through Georgia on Sunday morning. Damaging winds, an isolated tornado, and heavy rain were possible with the storms. It came days after another storm brought a tornado to the Newnan area. Fortunately, there have been no reports of major damage. We did hear about a few calls for downed trees.

1:30 p.m. | There are no current warnings or watches in north Georgia. The line of storms is moving out and we should have a quiet afternoon.
12:45 p.m. | A Severe Thunderstorm Warning has been issued for Butts, Henry, Jasper, Lamar, Monroe, Spalding until 1:15 p.m.
12:25 p.m. | A Severe Thunderstorm Warning has been issued for Spalding, Henry, Fayette, Pike, Butts, Lamar until 12:45 p.m.
11:10 a.m. | The severe thunderstorm watch has been cancelled. A line of downpours and embedded storms is moving into the metro. A weakening trend has been taking place, but still gusts to 40 mph are still possible.
11 a.m. | Rain and wind making its way into the heart of Atlanta.
10:25 a.m. | Storms are weakening as they make there way into the metro Atlanta. Severe Thunderstorm Watches remain for Polk, Barrow, Cherokee, Pickens, Dawson, Union and Lumpkin, but should be expiring soon.
9:20 a.m. | A Severe Thunderstorm Warning has been issued for Gilmer, Union, Fannin, Towns and Lumpkin counties until 9:45 a.m.
9:05 a.m. | A Severe Thunderstorm Warning has been issued for Bartow, Floyd and Gordon counties until 9:45 a.m.
7:55 a.m. | A Severe Thunderstorm Warning has been issued for Floyd, Chattooga, Walker until 8:15 a.m.
6:10 a.m. | A Severe Thunderstorm Watch has been issued for Bartow, Catoosa, Chattooga, Cherokee, Dade, Dawson, Fannin, Floyd, Gilmer, Gordon, Lumpkin, Murray, Pickens, Polk, Union, Walker and Whitfield until 11 a.m.
