ATLANTA — Weakening thunderstorms are moving into northwest Georgia but that doesn't mean that they won't bring some strong weather as they move in.

7:45 pm | The National Weather Service has canceled the Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Catoosa, Chattooga, Floyd, Gordon, Walker and Whitfield counties.

7:32 PM | The Severe Thunderstorm Warning has been canceled for Dade County but continues for Catoosa, Chattooga, Floyd, Gordon, Walker and Whitfield counties until 8 p.m.

7:16 PM | A Severe Thunderstorm Warning has been issued for several northwest Georgia counties until 8 p.m. The National Weather Service has included Walker, Whitfield, Catoosa, Dade, Chattooga, Floyd and Gordon counties until 8 p.m.
