SAVANNAH, Ga. — Vice President Kamala Harris has postponed her visit to Savannah, Ga. due to Tropical Storm Debby.
Harris and her yet-to-be-named running mate were slated to visit the Peach State on Friday as part of a campaign tour of seven battleground states. However, the looming arrival of Tropical Storm Debby, which made landfall in Florida on Monday, caused the campaign to delay the trip.
“The Vice President's visit to Savannah has been postponed due to the tropical storm," the Harris campaign said on Monday.
It has not been announced if or when Harris will visit Savannah following the storm. No announcement has been made regarding Harris' visit to the other planned states: Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Michigan, Arizona, North Carolina and Nevada.
