Metro Atlanta school delays for Wednesday after storms | List

ATLANTA — After heavy wind, rain and storms moved through metro Atlanta, several school districts are adjusting their class schedules for Wednesday, Jan. 10. 

District leaders said they are continuing to monitor the severe weather threat and aftermath of the storms. Refresh often for updates on school delays and closures.

These schools will begin Wednesday, Jan. 10, on a delay: 

Banks County Schools (2 hours) 

Gilmer County Schools (2 hours) 

Pickens County Schools (2 hours) 

Union County Schools (2 hours) 

Habersham County Schools (2 hours)

Fannin County School System (2 hours)

Towns County Schools (2 hours)

These schools will begin Wednesday, Jan. 10, as normal (list is not exhaustive, including only schools that canceled or delayed Tuesday and have announced they'll start normally Wednesday): 

Jasper County Charter System

Putnam County Charter School System

Rabun County Schools

White County School System

Storm impact
