The 11Alive StormTrackers are tracking rain mixing in with sleet and snow in parts of northwest and west Georgia. Temperatures at the surface are above freezing, so it is mostly melting as it hits the ground, but some of it managed to stick in some spots.
Many of our 11Alive Community StormTrackers are confirming those reports with their pictures and videos. This will change into all rain as it continues moving east.

Meteorologist Chris Holcomb says there is a cold pool of air aloft. As the rain moves in, it will briefly mix with some sleet or snowflakes. This occurs mainly at the onset of precip, then will change to all rain.
