ATLANTA — A large swath of metro Atlanta and north Georgia saw snow as a Winter Storm Warning expired for the state on Sunday morning. Videos and pictures from our 11Alive StormTrackers came in throughout the night!
While accumulation was still only expected in the northern reaches of the state, residents as far south as Douglas County are reporting flurries along with some wintry mix.

Patti White said she's going to play in the snow in Blue Ridge, Ga. before watching the Super Bowl this evening! What a great shot!
7:45 a.m. | Check out this beautiful sunrise at Cherry Log Mountain that Jennifer Rigby shared!
7:40 a.m. | Barb Van Dyke said they got 3.8" of snow at Tiger Mountain in Rabun County overnight.
7:10 a.m. Scott Anna showed us these beautiful pictures on Sunday morning from their home in Choestoe, Ga.

SATURDAY, 11:22 p.m. Carol Tolbert shared a few photos of how snow progressed from daylight to dark in Cleveland, Georgia on Saturday. There's a good chance that cars across north Georgia will look like this by the morning!
10:31 p.m.: Sandra Carnet lit up the place a little to show us some major snow up in Clermont, Georgia.
10:17 p.m. It's hard to call it true winter weather until you can make a snowman. It looks like these two were up to the challenge! Thanks to Kristine Wilcox for sending this in from Cornelia!
9:37 p.m.: Cynthia Hulsey just shared this fun pick from a very snowy Toccoa, Georgia!
9:24 p.m.: Scott Ann shared this photo that looks like it's straight out of a holiday movie but it's actually up in Union County.
7:54 p.m.: We're hardly into the evening and Barb Van Dyke has quite a Winter Wonderland up on Tiger Mountain in Rabun County. She estimated they were getting about half an inch per hour of snow.
8:49 p.m.: Snow showing up by streetlight in McCaysville care of Nikki Smith.
7:36 p.m.: In Tom Murphy's words, it's "snowing big-time" in Pendergrass, Georgia. And the video he shared is proof! Snow is seen falling in a powdery layer on a deck and some outdoor furniture.
7:35 p.m.: Seeing some definite accumulation up on Sassafras Mountain in Jasper, Georgia where Shannon Morgan-Dunn snapped this picture!
7:15 p.m.: Sunset didn't stop John W. Smith from capturing these snowflakes coming down in north Duluth tonight.
7:04 p.m.: Priscilla Joyner is seeing surprisingly heavy snowfall in Lawrenceville where the flakes are beginning to collect on cars in a nearby parking area.
6:57 p.m.: Janice Meeks caught a few flurries on camera in Buford as wintry weather continues moving across metro Atlanta and north Georgia.
6:26 p.m.: 11Alive StormTracker Tommy Meyer found plenty of snow at the Appalachian Trail crossing on Highway 75 north between Helen and Hiawassee.
6:17 p.m.: 11Alive's Hope Ford spotted this snow in Roswell.
6:01 p.m.: 11Alive's Kaitlyn Ross spotted a little bit of snow as far into metro Atlanta as the northeastern DeKalb border with the city.
5:52 p.m.: Elizabeth Conger McKinnon sent us this photo showing snow already coating a deck in the Bent Tree area of Jasper, Georgia.
5:35 p.m.: 11Alive's Pete Smith shared this video with us of snow beginning to fall in the Flowery Branch region of Hall County.
