ATLANTA — A weather system that arrived overnight in metro Atlanta has hit the region with just about everything: strong thunderstorms, high winds and, yes, even snow in some areas.
Moving into Saturday morning, that has even included reports from 11Alive journalists of slight flurries where they live in areas like South Atlanta, Sandy Springs and Smyrna.
A Winter Weather Warning for far northwest Georgia, and a Winter Weather Advisory for much of the rest of the region, is in effect until 1 p.m. Saturday afternoon.
North Georgia saw a fairly decent dusting overnight of snow, and residents have taken to the 11Alive StormTrackers Facebook group (which you can join!) to post their pictures.

According to the 11Alive StormTrackers, the little flurries could hang around in the metro area until 10 a.m.
