ATLANTA — With higher rain chances on Saturday, parts of metro Atlanta will be inundated with pop-up thunderstorms.
People can expect isolated showers and thunderstorms after 12 p.m.
There stalled out front is moving into Georgia. As it does, it will be an extra triggering mechanism to help kick off some showers along with the heat and humidity, 11Alive's StormTrackers said.

7 p.m. | A flash flood warning has been issued for Floyd and Polk counties until 1 a.m.
6:00 p.m. | Emergency responders were called to Northside Drive in Atlanta to help a driver stalled in flooding. Officials remind drivers to be wary about driving through roadways with flooding.
5:25 p.m. | A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for Clarke, Oglethorpe and Madison counties until 6 p.m.
5:05 p.m. | Atlanta Fire Rescue crews worked to help six people who were stuck along the Chattahoochee River Saturday afternoon. Authorities have not released if anyone was hurt, only that they were safely removed from the water.
4:55 p.m. | Georgia's Department of Transportation is reminding drivers of several closures along Interstate 285, especially in the wake of storms.
