ATLANTA — Scattered showers and thunderstorms are moving through parts of metro Atlanta Sunday afternoon.
The chance of showers and storms are on the rise again for the end of the weekend and start of the work week. An incoming cold front will bring scattered showers and storms back into the forecast. And some could be strong to severe.

5:08 p.m. | A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for Coweta, Meriwether and Fayette counties until 5:45 p.m.
3:40 p.m. | A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for Cobb, Paulding, Carroll, Douglas, Polk, Bartow and Haralson counties until 4:30 p.m.
3:19 p.m. | A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for Haralson County and Polk County until 4 p.m.
2:48 p.m. | A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for Coweta County 3:30 p.m.
2:30 p.m. | A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for Carroll, Heard, and Coweta County until 3 p.m.
7:29 a.m. | The National Weather Service has increased the risk for severe weather in Georgia.
