ATLANTA — Multiple severe thunderstorm warnings have been issued across north Georgia on Monday evening.
A weather impact alert has been issued until 11 p.m. on Monday as we track severe thunderstorm warnings in northwest Georgia that are approaching metro Atlanta. Below is a breakdown of the alert.
When: 7 p.m. until 11 p.m.
Impact: Storms are rolling in. We are seeing multiple severe thunderstorm warnings.
Need: One can expect rain and wind. You'll want to seek shelter during a severe thunderstorm, avoid using devices connected to electrical outlets and avoid running water. For showers in general, make sure to bring an umbrella anywhere you go and be careful if traveling. Following a thunderstorm, remember not to drive through a flooded roadway and stay away from any storm-damaged areas.
