ATLANTA — 11Alive is tracking storms as they move through Georgia and metro Atlanta on Tuesday.
A few storms could be severe with damaging wind gusts as the primary hazard. Check back for updates on where these storms are and any possible damage as they become available.
UPDATES:
7:12 p.m. - A tree that has fallen across the roadway is on power lines in Cherokee County.
7:05 p.m. - A tree down is blocking roads in Cobb County.
6:55 p.m. - A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for Chattooga, Dade and Walker counties until 7:45 p.m. Hazards include 60 mph winds and 1-inch hail.
4:52 p.m. - The severe thunderstorm for Murray and Whitfield counties has expired.
4:43 p.m. - A ground stop is in place at Hartsfield-Jackson.
4:37 p.m. - The severe thunderstorm warning has been expired for Clayton and Fulton Counties.
4:18 p.m. - A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for parts of Banks, Jackson and Madison counties until 5 p.m. Hazards include winds of 60 mph and hail up to an inch.
4:10 p.m. - A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for parts of Clayton and Fulton counties until 5 p.m. Hazards include winds of 60 mph and hail up to 1 inch.
Places impacted include, Atlanta, East Point, Forest Park, Riverdale, College Park, Hapeville, Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, Cascade Heights, Lakewood Park and Conley.
4:08 p.m. - A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for parts of Murray and Whitfield counties until 5 p.m. Hazards associated with the storm include winds of 60 mph and hail of up to 1.25 inches.
