ATLANTA — This year's Weather Impact Forecast for Halloween is no trick, but for some, it will definitely be a treat.
The 11 Alive Weather Impact Team is predicting unseasonably warm temperatures and dry conditions throughout Halloween day. We'll start with morning temperatures around 60 degrees, then soar to around 80 in the afternoon! The record high for Halloween is 86 in Atlanta.
By evening, mild and comfortable temperatures will accompany trick-or-treaters. Temperatures will be in the upper 70s for dinners and pre-sunset trick-or-treaters.
Sunset time on Thursday is 6:46 p.m. Later in the evening, temperatures fall from the mid-70s to the low 70s.
This year, you won't need to incorporate extra stuffing or multiple layers into the costume—a true Halloween treat!
Although some will gasp at the long-tenured dry streak, no rain is in sight for Halloween Day. The city of Atlanta could finish the month with the driest month in history. If we don't pick up any rain through Halloween, it will be 32 days straight without any rain in Atlanta.
