Damaging wind will be the main threat in any of the stronger storms and they should be weakening as they approach the Atlanta metro, which is under a level one, marginal risk for severe weather.

Storms should move out of the region and fall apart around 11 p.m. this evening with quieter conditions returning to the region the rest of the evening as temperatures fall to the 70s.
