"As rain continues to move through our area, we urge you to prioritize safety during flooding conditions. Remember, water on the road can be deceiving, and driving through flooded roadways is never safe. Just 12 inches of moving water can carry away most cars, and even 6 inches can cause loss of control or stalling," fire officials posted on social media.
