Authorities say multiple people died after a plane crash near a north Georgia airport, just days before Christmas.
According to David Dyer with Union County EMA, the aircraft carrying four people crashed near the Blairsville Airport around 7:36 p.m. Dec. 19.
Three of the four passengers did not survive. The fourth was airlifted to an unknown regional trauma center.
The FAA has been called in to investigate the incident.
