Friday will bring a return of rain chances with just a few isolated showers and storms possible, mainly in the afternoon. Temperatures for Friday will rise into the mid 80s under a partly cloudy sky.
Our highest chance for rain this week will be on Saturday with lows in the mid 60s and highs in the lower 80s under a partly cloudy to mostly cloudy sky. Expect scattered showers and storms for Saturday with heavy rainfall possible at times, but we are not expecting a washout.
Sunday and Monday bring a slight drop in rain chances with just isolated showers and storms possible as lows sit in the mid 60s and highs rise into the mid 80s under a partly cloudy sky.
Tuesday through Thursday will bring the hottest temperatures of the year so far with lows in the 60s and highs in the upper 80s as we dive into a summertime pattern that will also include a slight chance for rain each day under a partly cloudy sky.
Expect anywhere from half an inch to an inch of rain to occur over the next week with the higher totals expected in far north Georgia.
