Derrick Perry, Edward Brown and Cartavious Bradley are three of the men arrested in connection with a police chase down Georgia 400 early Thursday morning. Two others were hospitalized due to injuries sustained during the chase.

Five Atlanta men are facing a number of charges in Forsyth County after a police chase down Georgia 400 early Thursday morning in a stolen car ended on I-285 in Sandy Springs.

Forsyth County Corporal Doug Rainwater says the five men stole a car in Atlanta and drove to Dawson County where he says the group first burglarized a gas station, stealing cash and lottery tickets. From there, Rainwater says the roving group moved on to Forsyth County, where the men broke into a convenience store.

Rainwater said that when a deputy arrived at that location and saw that someone had tried to break the front window, the Cumming Police Department reported that a car matching the description of the one they were looking for was seen near Bald Ridge Marina Road.

The car refused to stop and led police on a chase onto Georgia 400 southbound and eventually Interstate 285 west. The chase ended on I-285 near Roswell Road when police used a PIT maneuver to stop it along the highway. Two of the men were hurt running from law enforcement and taken to the hospital for treatment.

The other three men were taken directly to the Forsyth County jail.

Here are the names of those charged:

  • Cartavious Jerard Bradley, 23
  • Edward Carlos Brown Jr., 25
  • Derrick Tremaine Perry Jr. , 17
  • Jalen Bichette Jones, 21
  • Jhonae Lexus Cisneros-Hampton, 17
