Police are investigating a homicide after a man's body was found outside a DeKalb County shopping center early Friday morning.
The body of Sergio Ulysses Collins, 27, was discovered around 4:30 am in a vehicle outside the DSW Shoe Warehouse. The store is located at the Mall at Stonecrest in Lithonia.
Atlanta police said Collins was shot to death somewhere in northwest Atlanta on Oct. 17, and was reported missing later that same day.
Collins had been reported to be driving a four-door white 2007 Pontiac Grand Prix with the Georgia license plate RIX 7119.
The body and car are believed to have been left at the mall.
Police are working to locate a suspect. This story is developing.
