The DeKalb County Public Safety Building in the 3600 block of Camp Circle in Decatur was being evacuated Monday morning after several reports of an unknown odor in the air that is making people cough.
The building houses the county's traffic court as well as several other courtrooms.
According to Capt. Eric Jackson with DeKalb Fire Rescue, hazmat firefighters have performed air monitoring in the building, but have not made any findings of noxious materials.
About 100 employees were evacuated. Traffic court was still happening, according to 11Alive's Jefferson Cochran.
No injuries have been reported. At this point, Jackson says no cause can be determined as of this point.
