HABERSHAM COUNTY, Ga. -- A handwritten bomb threat caused the evacuation of North Habersham Middle School on Wednesday afternoon.
Cpt. Floyd Canup with Habersham County Sheriff's Office said the written threat was received around 12:20 p.m.
The students were evacuated out of the building and the school was swept by bomb dogs. The Habersham Fire Department also responded to the scene.
Authorities did not find anything related to the threat. No one was hurt and the scene was cleared.
There was no word on who made the threat and authorities haven't made an arrest. This incident remains under investigation.
