ATHENS, Ga. -- Athens-Clarke County police are searching for clues around an area train track after the discovery of a body nearby.
Police found the body around 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday under a train trestle not far from Whistlebury Condominiums. The complex is located at 86 North Avenue.
Police said the victim, a black male who is about 5 feet 9 inches tall and between 75 and 100 pounds was already dead when he was found, investigators said in a statement.
At this point, police do not know the cause of death or the identity of the victim.
