BARTOW COUNTY, Ga. -- Authorities say a man's body was recovered from Allatoona Lake on Saturday.
According to Georgia Department of Natural Resources spokesperson Mark McKinnon, the body was found in a cove near Bethany Bridge.
The man appeared to be in his 60s, Bartow County coroner Joel Guyton said. The body appeared to have been there for several days.
The man's cause of death is under investigation, Guyton said.
