The body of 4-year-old Beau Rabon was found Friday after an extensive 9-day search in Columbus.
CBS-affiliate WRBL reports authorities have confirmed they located the body of a child in the Bibb Pond area of the Chattahoochee River, and they believe it is Rabon’s.
The body of Beau’s father, 27-year-old James Ryan Rabon, was found Sunday.
The pair went missing on Wednesday, March 28, while on a fishing trip.
Bystanders said Beau fell into the water, and his father dove in to save him and did not resurface.
Dive teams and rescue workers had been searching the area for nearly 10 days in hopes of finding the pair alive.
