Fire crews say dozens of animals are dead after a mobile home fire in Hall County, Tuesday evening.
According to Zachary Brackett, they were called to the 6000 block of Lookout Court on reports of a residential fire and found a double-wide home up in flames.
Overall, one dog, 15 to 20 cats, another 15 to 20 reptiles and an unknown number of birds were all found dead in the blaze. It was so extreme that crews were still working to put out hot spots a time later.
An adult and a child also live at the home but weren't home when the fire erupted. The cause is still under investigation.
