4 dogs rescued from apartment fire in southwest Atlanta

Here's what we know.

ATLANTA — Emergency crews responded to a large fire at an apartment complex in southwest Atlanta on Monday afternoon.

The blaze occurred at 320 Fairburn Road SW, which is addressed to Country Oaks Apartments, according to Google Maps. 

11Alive SkyTracker flew over the scene, where flames and smoke could be seen billowing from the top floor of an apartment building.

Atlanta Fire said no one was injured in the fire, but four dogs were rescued. Twelve units were impacted by fire damage, and the American Red Cross was contacted to help assist the families affected. 

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
