DUNWOODY, Ga. -- A metro Atlanta couple and several others are accused of operating a sex enterprise out of four Dunwoody apartment complexes.
According to the DeKalb County District Attorney's Office, Samuel Leon Crenshaw and his wife Darliene L. Crenshaw, of Marietta, Ga., operating the illegal club under the name "Lipstick and Shoes" and, later, "Gold Club".

According to the indictment, the Crenshaws leased units at four Dunwoody apartment complexes for the purpose of pairing "models" and clients to engage in paid sexual activities. Several co-defendants -- George Moore, Tara Lee Gilleo and Giovene Burkhalter -- are accused of conspiring to recruit employees, advertise, secure locations and management appointments and payments.
They are each charged with one count of violation of Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO). Moore, Gilleo and Burkhalter also face the same RICO charge.Another 57 men and women face prostitution or pandering charges, the district attorney's office said.
The case will be prosecuted by the District Attorney’s Sexual Exploitation and Crimes Against Children Unit (SECAC). A trial date has not yet been set.
The defendants were arrested following a months-long investigation and subsequent sting by the Dunwoody Police Department in December 2016.
