A store clerk was shot in the left leg at a Macon gas station during an attempted robbery on Friday morning.
Nirmal Prashant, 50, was opening the Hornet on Hillcrest Avenue Friday morning when he noticed two men dressed in black approach him, according to Sgt. Linda Howard with the Bibb County Sheriff's Office.
The two men walked behind the clerk and fired several shots.
Howard says this was an attempted robbery and the men did not get away with any merchandise.
There was an armed robbery at this same gas station last July.
