FAIRBURN, Ga. - A bike rider is in critical condition after he was hit by a car early Friday morning.
The incident happened on Highway 74 going southbound between Landrum Road and the Fayette County line.
Police say an adult male was riding his bike home from work when he wa hit by a vehicle. The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene while the bike rider was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
No charges have been given at this time and this investigation is ongoing.
