HENRY COUNTY, Ga. -- Police say a 47-year-old man used the internet to lure young victims to engage in child pornography and child molestation activities.
According to Henry County police, Richard Hayes used two fictitious male profiles on social media to entice victims.
Hayes was arrested after a joint investigation involving the Henry County Police Department, the GBI and the Tybee Island Police Department. Each agency dealt with the same victim.
After executing a search warrant, authorities said they discovered additional and unknown victims, child pornography records and computer-related devices to further the illicit activities.
Hayes is charged with aggravated child molestation and two counts of child molestation.
Anyone with information on the case is asked to call 770-288-8473.
