STONE MOUNTAIN, Ga. - DeKalb County Fire Rescue was battling a fire at a residence early Tuesday morning.
Firefighters were dispatched to a home at 3:15 a.m. on the 1300 block of Hidden Hills Parkway.
According to Captain Jackson with DeKalb Fire Rescue, firefighters made contact with the first victim sitting on the front stoop of the home and that victim is being treated for injuries.
When firefighters made their way into the home, they located a second female victim inside one of the bedrooms, deceased.
The DeKalb County Medical Examiner has identified the woman as 74-year-old Onoloda Williams.
The cause of the fire is still being investigated at this time.
