A Dunwoody man can thank a keen ear for helping him decipher the purr of his engine from the frantic cries of a small cat on Sunday.
According to a post shared by the Dunwoody Police Department, they were called out by a driver who said he thought he heard a cat under the hood of his car. They arrived and, sure enough, there was one in there.
But their response didn't end there. The cat, clearly frightened after finding itself trapped near a loud engine, got stuck trying to run from rescuers.
They eventually got the kitten out unharmed.
"First time for everything," the post read.
