The protest going on at @Netroots_Nation is EMBARASSING and as a black woman their rudeness is SHAMEFUL. Apologies to @EvansforGeorgia.

REVOKE THEIR MEMBERSHIPS TO @Netroots_Nation & BAN THEM NOW! This isn't races, this is about shutting down discourse we pay to hear. #NN17 pic.twitter.com/5NZ2NWMplW

Abrams spoke to the organization on Thursday.
Former Vice President Al Gore addressed the conference on Saturday afternoon.
Netroots Nation bills itself as America's leading annual progressive conference. Besides Gore, other speakers who had already appeared were U.S. Sen. Elizabeth Warren; U.S. Rep. Barbara Lee; and U.S. Rep. Keith Ellison, among others.
